Rachel is Personal Assistant to Helen Goulden, CEO of The Young Foundation.
Prior to joining The Young Foundation, Rachel worked for an alternative provider of Higher Education, specialising in widening participation and social mobility initiatives. She led a project which looked at ways of decreasing the attainment gap between working-class students and their more affluent classmates and assisted the Pro Provost with change management, process creation and policy implementation.
Rachel is currently completing her MA in Human Rights and Global Ethics, with a focus on refugees and women’s rights. She spent a year at Stockholm University in Sweden studying International Criminal Law and International Commercial Dispute Resolution as part of her LLB from the University of Leicester.
During university, Rachel volunteered at Leicestershire Rape Crisis Centre as a telephone counsellor and now volunteers at Girlguiding UK as a volunteer group leader.
