Hannah joined the Young Foundation in February 2014 to support on a number of projects within the research team. Projects she has worked on include the ESRC funded, mixed methods piece of research looking at high cost credit in Wales and the Socially Sustainable Leeds programme. Hannah has also been part of the team writing the report on behalf of the Parliamentary Commission on physical activity and on a study evaluating the impact of police education sessions in schools. She has also been closely involved in the EU funded EACEA, EMAPS and TEPSIE projects.
In December 2016 Hannah moved across to the communications team to support the review and improvement of all our communication channels, including online and print, in order to raise the profile of all aspects of the organisation.
Prior to joining the Young Foundation, Hannah interned in the Research and Policy team at UnLtd, the Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs. Here she worked on a number of projects, including a large qualitative research piece exploring the place-based based approach to funding social entrepreneurs in Big Local areas.
Hannah has an MSc in Sociology (Research) from the LSE, for which she completed a quantitative dissertation on women’s entrepreneurship.
