Abstract
This publication is based on the results of surveys undertaken by the Plunkett Foundation between March and April 2015 and draws on information provided by 29 of the 33 co-operative pubs open and trading across the UK at the end of 2014. The majority of this information was collected through a structured online survey completed by appointed representatives of co-operative pubs, or equivalent follow-up telephone surveys.
Supplementary financial information was obtained from the Financial Conduct Authority. The wider report and conclusions drawn have been informed by the information collected in the survey alongside our wider work, and the work of others, to support communities to successfully set up and run community co-operative pubs.
