Director of Finance and Corporate Resources
Sean leads our Finance, HR, Technology, Facilities, and Governance functions, providing the supporting infrastructure to ensure quality delivery of our work and mission. He is passionate about developing strong teams, solving complex problems, and using data and technology to improve decision-making and maximise impact.
Sean joined The Young Foundation in 2024, previously serving as Chief Operating Officer at Nesta. He has more than a decade of experience leading on business operations and supporting social impact in the charity sector in the UK, and more than 15 years experience driving digital transformation in corporates and consultancies in the US.
Outside of work, Sean is an amateur astronomer, struggling golfer, and optimistic runner. He is a member of the BCS – The Chartered Institute for IT, The British Interplanetary Society, PADI Diving Association, and volunteers for Rotary International and Age UK.
