Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our finance team. The role includes supporting the management of The Young Foundation’s finances including financial controls, cash management, production and analysis of management accounts, input to the budget process, assisting in the preparation of the statutory accounts and supporting budget holders.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance and manage a Finance Officer. The role is varied with a combination of the hands-on (processing journals, preparing management accounts etc.) and supporting non-finance colleagues (managing budgets, reviewing project accounts and preparing financial returns to funders).

Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time (35 hours)
Salary: £40,000 per annum (+ benefits including a defined contribution pension scheme, child care vouchers and 25 days annual leave + 3 days off during Christmas)
Location: Bethnal Green, London
Responsible for: Finance Officer
