Research Officer
Leonie joined The Young Foundation in 2023, passionate about using ethical research to address health inequalities. She is a Trustee at CRIBS International, supporting heavily pregnant women through birth with housing, medical, and legal assistance.
Leonie is a social researcher with a background in migration studies and gender equity. She holds a Master’s degree from The University of Leeds, where she studied reproductive justice. Leonie’s international experience in Sierra Leone and Greece informs her research design, encouraging inclusion throughout the process.
Outside of work, Leonie enjoys reading, running, and trying new recipes.
