About the Community Knowledge Fund

The Community Knowledge Fund was designed to open opportunities for more people to get involved in research and innovation, enabling communities to determine, develop and deliver change that’s meaningful to them.

Funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and delivered by The Young Foundation, the Fund has directed over £1.2m in support of 24 community organisations across the UK, to find new solutions to local and national challenges by uncovering knowledge and turning great ideas into action.
