Catherine Russell is an Associate and currently works on Local Government Innovation.
Catherine is currently working on ageing with Local Government Improvement and Development (LGID), social enterprise work with Suffolk County Council, and a Cabinet Office project investigating how Local Authorities and Civil Society can work together more closely.
With a degree in Human Geography from the University of Sheffield, Catherine is very interested in innovative ways of tackling social issues – both within the UK and internationally. She has particular interests in social inclusion, community empowerment and international development. Catherine interned with the Learning Launchpad before working at the Young Foundation, helping to support social ventures providing alternative learning opportunities for young people. Previous experiences before this include a youth exchange between Mongolia and the UK.
