Could you be the next James Caan? Community Level Investment in Migrant Businesses (CLIMB) is launching in Lambeth, looking for entrepreneurs from migrant and refugee communities.
The launch event in Lambeth at the Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre is open to all potential participants for the programme, and will offer business workshops and investment information to all attendees on the day.
CLIMB is looking for a wide variety of migrant entrepreneurs, from builders, cleaners and interpreters through to youth workers and community organisers. Participants in CLIMB will receive a month of valuable support from The Young Foundation on growing their businesses, social enterprise and how to identify the positive social impact their ventures may already be making in the community.
At the end of the programme, entrepreneurs will be invited to pitch to a Dragon’s Den-style panel. Up to four successful businesses will be awarded a year of business mentoring from Young Foundation experts, office space, seed funding and access to further investment.
If you’re someone from a migrant, refugee, or ethnic minority community who’s enthusiastic about social change, have an entrepreneurial flair, and the drive to make your ideas happen, come along and see if CLIMB is for you.
